Franz Posch & his Innbrüggler
The "Innbrüggler" are a 6-man folk music band from Hall in Tyrol, led by Franz Posch. The repertoire includes folk melodies, brass band marches, Bohemian-Moravian music, Inn valley pieces, "Selberg's Tricks," and beautiful brass melodies.
The group recorded a CD in 1991 under the same name and with almost the same musicians but has only performed publicly since 2003. Performance occasions include dance events, church days, weddings, etc., across the Alpine region, as well as engagements in Italy, the Netherlands, Dubai, and appearances on ORF television (Mei liabste Weis, Klingendes Österreich, Frühschoppen). Highlights also include multiple performances at "Woodstock of Brass Music," at the NÖ Trachtenball in Grafenegg, and at the Ball of the Vienna Philharmonic.
